Composite Infrastructure Manufacturing With Over 30 Years of Experience

Kent Teknik Kimya was founded with the vision of pioneering the new era that composite material technology has opened in the infrastructure sector. We set out to create a permanent solution to the problems of traditional cast iron and concrete manhole covers — weight, corrosion, theft due to scrap value, and short lifespan. Over this period spanning more than 30 years, we have continuously improved our products not by trial and error, but through material science, engineering calculations and field feedback.

At the core of our production lies SMC (Sheet Molding Compound) and BMC (Bulk Molding Compound) composite technology. This glass-fibre reinforced polyester (GRP) based material provides high compressive and flexural strength while, unlike metal, it does not rust, does not rot and is electrically insulating. Thanks to this, our products serve for decades without maintenance even in humid, chemically intensive and heavy-traffic environments.

Today our product range is not limited to composite manhole covers alone. With polymer and composite drainage channels, stormwater gratings, channel gratings, floor drains, edge elements, bench feet, tree grilles and composite junction chambers, we produce solutions for almost every visible point of the city's surface infrastructure. We are preferred across a wide range, from municipal infrastructure projects to industrial facilities, from car parks to telecom and electricity networks.

We carry out our production processes in accordance with the TS EN 124-5 standard and test our products in different load classes from A15 up to D400. Our ISO 9001 quality management system, TSE certification and our Domestic Product Certificate with an 80.80% local contribution rate together guarantee both quality and contribution to the national economy. We also protect our identity and production standard through our registered trademark.

For us, quality does not end the moment a product leaves the factory. Our technical staff stands by our customers from project survey to product selection, from installation consultancy to after-sales support.
